Rope Silica Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Rope Silica Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining machinery that produces top-notch rope silica products. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all machinery operates smoothly and efficiently, meeting our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle and manage material inputs for production.
• Support quality control inspections and document findings.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste.
• Participate in safety drills and health assessments.
• Monitor stock levels of materials needed for production.
• Assist in the development of production schedules.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement of machine operations.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations in operations.

Requirements

Education

• Technical or vocational training in automated manufacturing preferred.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is an asset.

Experience

• 2+ years in a manufacturing role is a plus.
