Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Divinity Teacher with a solid understanding of religious studies and theology to inspire our students. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons and promote critical thinking about diverse religious beliefs.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate multimedia and modern teaching techniques in lesson delivery.
  • Evaluate and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Establish strong relationships with students and foster an encouraging educational atmosphere.
  • Advise students on academic and career opportunities in religious studies.
  • Coordinate with community leaders to enhance practical learning experiences.
  • Monitor developments in educational technology related to divinity education.
  • Promote an awareness of global religious diversity and cultural sensitivity.
  • Engage students in service-learning projects that connect faith and action.
  • Contribute to accreditation processes and course assessments.
  • Encourage a culture of respect and open dialogue in the classroom.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Divinity or Theology is preferred
  • Teaching qualification or relevant experience is highly desirable
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching divinity or related fields
