Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Soil Quality Analyst to assess soil health and contribute to sustainable agricultural practices in Wigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, with expertise in soil analysis and a passion for promoting sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse soil data to identify trends and inform agricultural practices.
  • Collaborate with governmental and private organisations to enhance soil health initiatives.
  • Supervise soil health workshops for local farmers and agronomists.
  • Promote community engagement in sustainable land use.
  • Review regulations related to soil management and advise on compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Soil Science
  • PhD in a relevant field is preferable
Experience
  • 5 years of professional experience in soil management or analysis
