Job Description
As a Radiosonde Operator at Meteorological Services Ltd., you will play a crucial role in launching and tracking radiosondes to collect atmospheric data. Your work will support accurate weather forecasting and contribute to vital research.
Responsibilities
Launch and monitor radiosondes, documenting environmental conditions.
Collect and process data, making it accessible for analysis.
Provide feedback on the effectiveness of radiosonde systems.
Help develop training materials for ongoing team development.
Engage in outreach activities to educate the public on weather data importance.
Develop and maintain a database of historical weather data.
Assist in emergency weather events by providing accurate and timely data.
Requirements
Education
Degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
