Job Description

As a Radiosonde Operator at Meteorological Services Ltd., you will play a crucial role in launching and tracking radiosondes to collect atmospheric data. Your work will support accurate weather forecasting and contribute to vital research.

Responsibilities

  • Launch and monitor radiosondes, documenting environmental conditions.
  • Collect and process data, making it accessible for analysis.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of radiosonde systems.
  • Help develop training materials for ongoing team development.
  • Engage in outreach activities to educate the public on weather data importance.
  • Develop and maintain a database of historical weather data.
  • Assist in emergency weather events by providing accurate and timely data.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
