Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Power Systems Engineer to join our Coventry team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, design, and maintenance of innovative power systems, playing a pivotal role in ensuring sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative power solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify project specifications and demands.
  • Prepare documentation and reports to support engineering activities.
  • Monitor and analyse system performance, implementing necessary upgrades.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety standards are adhered to.
  • Engage in research to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Master's degree in Power Systems Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in designing and implementing power systems
Technical Skills
  • Electrical Circuit Design
  • Simulation Software

  • Effective Communication
  • Critical Thinking
Certifications
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of Battery Management Systems: Experience with battery technologies, and their integration into power systems.
  • Experience in Power System Modelling: Ability to develop and utilise models for designing power systems.
