Job Description

Are you a stamp enthusiast with a keen eye for detail? As a Stamp Analyst, you will analyze and evaluate stamps, assessing their origins, age, condition, and rarity. This role demands a strong background in stamp collecting and excellent research skills.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify rare and valuable stamps and philatelic items.
  • Assess the condition and value of stamps and philatelic items.
  • Provide accurate and detailed reports to clients.
  • Assist in the auction process by providing expertise and guidance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of stamp collecting trends, prices, and new finds.
  • Collaborate with other departments for integrated services.
  • Train junior staff members on stamp analysis and valuation.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in History, Art History, or related field
  • Certification in stamp collecting preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in stamp collecting or appraisal roles
