Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you will be integral to our operations, responsible for supervising the Manganese heating equipment to ensure efficient heating processes. An ideal candidate will possess relevant technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and adjust Manganese heating equipment according to production requirements.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure machinery is working correctly and efficiently.
  • Record melting and heating data for quality assurance purposes.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
  • Evaluate heating controls and monitor for compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical certification in Metallurgy or equivalent experience
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operating heating equipment or a similar role.
Technical Skills
  • Manganese-based heat treatment techniques
  • Temperature control systems

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with other heat treatment processes: Knowledge of additional metal treatment methods will be beneficial.
