Radiology Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Radiology Consultant to join our progressive healthcare team in Carlisle. This role involves providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations to referring clinicians regarding imaging results.
• Develop and implement protocols for new imaging technologies.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings and case reviews.
• Support the delivery of training programs for radiology staff.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in accordance with safety standards.
• Engage in networking and collaboration with external healthcare organizations.

Requirements

Education

• MBBS or equivalent qualification
• Fellowship in Radiology is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a hospital radiology department.

Technical Skills

• Digital Imaging
• Ultrasound

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR)
• Advanced Certification in Radiology

Languages

• English: Fluent
