Job Description

We are seeking a Building Design Consultant to join our architectural team in Salisbury. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to develop creative solutions that meet their needs while ensuring adherence to building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare architectural plans for residential and commercial projects.
• Ensure all designs comply with current building codes and standards.
• Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality renderings and models.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to interpret their needs and feedback.
• Support the project management team in preparing project proposals and timelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed designs.
• Assist in the preparation of planning applications and submissions.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Architectural Studies preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a consultancy role

Languages
