Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Substation Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our electrical substations. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of electrical systems, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of substations ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Implement and monitor maintenance and inspection programs.
  • Plan and coordinate installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Analyse performance data regularly for improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee budget and resource allocation for the substation team.
  • Deliver technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
  • Foster a safety culture within the team and company.
  • Lead project management initiatives related to substation upgrades.
  • Facilitate training sessions to improve team efficiencies.
  • Promote collaboration with other departments to enhance operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years working in power distribution or electrical operations.
