Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Aluminum Polisher to join our team at our Birmingham manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in polishing aluminum parts to the highest standards, ensuring quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Execute polishing processes to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Work with abrasive compounds and polishing agents effectively.
• Keep abreast of new polishing techniques and implement where viable.
• Assist with quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required
• Formal training in metal finishing is advantageous

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment highly desirable

Technical Skills

• Experience with polishing machines
• Knowledge of safety standards

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Flexibility

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with various types of metal polishing: Proven competency in finishing different metal surfaces.
