Job Description

As an Environmental Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and implementing various sustainability projects in Aberdeen. You will lead initiatives focused on reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices within the community. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for making a positive impact.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise environmental project activities.
  • Ensure that projects adhere to environmental legislation.
  • Draft proposals and grant applications aimed at securing funding.
  • Foster partnerships with local businesses and community leaders.
  • Conduct workshops to raise awareness about sustainability practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
  • Utilize project management tools for efficient tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain a strong presence in local environmental forums and discussions.
  • Promote a culture of sustainability within the organization.
  • Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
  • Master's degree in a similar field is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or project management
