Material Scheduler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Material Scheduler to join our team. The Material Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of materials to ensure timely and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material demand forecasts based on production plans and customer orders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and take proactive measures to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Optimize inventory management processes to minimize costs and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while adhering to quality and cost requirements.
• Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights on material availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain appropriate inventory control systems and procedures.
• Train staff on material management best practices and software utilization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in material scheduling.
• Assist in developing budgets related to materials and inventory control.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• Certification in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
