Job Description

As a Power Plant Operator, you'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of auxiliary equipment including pumps, fans, and generators. Your expertise is crucial to ensuring the seamless functionality of our manufacturing processes, requiring keen technical knowledge and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor auxiliary systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on malfunctioning equipment.
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Keep detailed logs of maintenance activities and equipment status.
  • Work alongside other technical staff to optimise machinery performance.
  • Engage in root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend improvements.
  • Provide support during audits and safety inspections.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant field
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working with auxiliary equipment in a manufacturing setting.
