Job Description

As a Workplace Violence Prevention Specialist, you will be tasked with developing and implementing strategies to effectively prevent and manage incidents of workplace violence. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in enhancing the safety and security of our workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programs tailored to various employee roles.
  • Monitor and track workplace incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Create a workplace safety culture through awareness and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide support during high-stress situations to ensure employee wellbeing.
  • Advise management on best practices and legislative requirements regarding workplace safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Additional certifications in security or safety management are a plus.
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in workplace safety or security.
