Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to enhance our security measures. You will be responsible for monitoring and defending our systems against cyber threats, implementing security protocols, and responding to incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop a threat model to identify and address potential risks.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors and consultants.
• Evaluate new security technologies and make recommendations.
• Assist in managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security appliances.
• Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
• Provide support in forensic investigations in case of a breach.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in security processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Recognised security certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role is desirable
