Sub Arc Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sub Arc Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sub arc welding equipment to join metal components, ensuring high-quality production at all times.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and troubleshoot welding machines for optimal performance.
• Assist in the training of junior operators in welding techniques.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to safety strategies.
• Document machinery maintenance and repair logs.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to meet industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in related welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG) preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

Advantageous

• Experience operating CNC machines: Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus.
• Experience in large-scale fabrication projects: Prior experience in large-scale welding or fabrication projects is beneficial.
