Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of tiles in both residential and commercial properties, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for tiling, ensuring they are clean and suitable.
  • Cut and shape tiles to accommodate corners and edges.
  • Apply adhesive and ensure tiles are level and evenly spaced.
  • Complete jobs within budget while ensuring high standards.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
  • Contribute design ideas based on trends and customer preferences.
  • Work alongside electricians and plumbers for integrated installations.
  • Evaluate and repair damaged tile installations when needed.
  • Document materials and labour for each project.
  • Provide feedback for ongoing improvement of processes.

Requirements

Education
  • City and Guilds NVQ in Wall and Floor Tiling Level 2 or equivalent
  • CSCS card or equivalent
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in tile installation or a similar role

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
