Job Description

As a Piano Inspector, you will be responsible for examining and assessing the condition, quality, and functionality of pianos. You'll ensure that all instruments meet the required standards and specifications before they are sold or utilized in performances.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of pianos to assess their condition.
• Test sound quality and ensure tonal accuracy.
• Check the responsiveness of keys and pedals.
• Report findings and recommend suitable repairs.
• Work with piano technicians on repair solutions.
• Ensure all instruments meet the established quality criteria.
• Keep accurate records of inspections and repairs.
• Follow up on completed repairs to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain a safe and tidy workspace.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure instrument preparedness.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Proven experience in piano inspection or related field.
