Job Description

As a Paring Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining paring machines used in the leather industry. You will ensure the machines operate efficiently while producing high-quality leather products.

Responsibilities

  • Operate paring machinery for cutting leather to specified measurements.
  • Calibrate machines for optimum performance and precision.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Collaborate actively with colleagues to streamline operations.
  • Stay updated on manufacturing best practices and techniques.
  • Prepare reports on production output and machine performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Train apprentices and beginners in machine operation.
  • Support management in implementing safety protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical or vocational training in machine operation is preferred
Experience
  • Previous experience operating paring machines or similar machinery is highly advantageous.
