Job Description

As a Food Safety Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards within the food industry. You will conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement, ensuring that our clients maintain the highest level of food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audits of food safety systems and evaluate compliance with HACCP and other standards.
  • Identify and investigate food safety incidents and non-conformities.
  • Work closely with quality control teams to ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Provide expert advice to management regarding food safety issues.
  • Assist in the development of risk assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote food safety awareness.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication between departments regarding food safety matters.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field
  • Master’s degree is advantageous

  • 5+ years in food safety regulation and auditing
