Setup Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Setup Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining production equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess keen mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machinery and equipment for production runs.
• Ensure all production equipment is in good working order and set to the correct specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime within the production line.
• Actively troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
• Document all setup processes and maintenance schedules.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment handling and safety procedures.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to meet product specifications.
• Conduct inspections and adjustments of equipment during production runs.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Additional technical training or certification in manufacturing or machinery operation is preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a setup technician role.
