Job Description

Join our innovative team in Swansea as a Cloud Solutions Engineer, where you'll be responsible for architecting, optimising, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Successful candidates will possess deep knowledge of cloud platforms and services, along with a strong focus on client needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy secure and scalable cloud solutions to meet business needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand workload requirements and translate them into cloud solution designs.
  • Conduct regular audits of cloud resources and applications to ensure optimal usage and performance.
  • Stay updated on new Cloud Technologies and evaluate their applicability to the business.
  • Create and maintain documentation for cloud operations, architecture, and procedures.
  • Lead cloud migration projects and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Assist in the development of disaster recovery and backup strategies.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members on cloud best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Professional certifications in cloud computing are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years in cloud architecture or engineering roles
