DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies and experience with CI/CD pipelines, playing a crucial role in enhancing our software deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud-based environments to support development and production systems.
• Automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Work closely with developers to optimize application performance.
• Implement security best practices, ensuring data protection and compliance.
• Provide support for deployment and configuration of systems in various environments.
• Document system architecture and infrastructure changes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for system support.
• Report on system metrics and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Certifications in cloud technologies are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related field
