Job Description

As a Script Reader at Film Productions Ltd., you will play an essential role in our creative process. Your main responsibility will be to read and evaluate scripts, providing constructive feedback to writers and producers to enhance the quality of our productions. Your keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills will help identify potential plot issues and character development opportunities, ensuring our projects resonate with audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and critique scripts for narrative coherence and character arcs.
  • Engage with production teams to provide actionable insights during script development.
  • Research and report on emerging trends in the film and television landscape.
  • Provide clear and detailed feedback to help refine drafts.
  • Participate in creative meetings to offer script ideas and enhancements.
  • Support the identification of writers for future projects and collaborations.
  • Document script assessments and maintain organized records.

  • Offer mentorship to junior script readers and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Journalism, or Film Production
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in film and television production roles.
