Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will control and monitor industrial furnaces to heat, melt, and treat materials. Your expertise will help ensure production targets are met, adhering to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the heating and treatment processes of various materials in industrial furnaces.
  • Control and monitor the operation of temperature and pressure settings.
  • Conduct inspections and perform necessary maintenance on furnace equipment.
  • Keep detailed logs of operational data and report any discrepancies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely production outputs.
  • Implement and uphold safety measures within the workplace.
  • Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety protocols.
  • Utilize furnace control software for optimal performance tracking.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational training in furnace operation is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial furnace operation
