Torch Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Torch Operator to join our team. As a Torch Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cutting torches to perform various metal cutting operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of metalworking processes and possess excellent manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot cutting torch issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Work in collaboration with other metalworkers to achieve production targets.
• Ensure that all safety equipment is used and in good working condition.
• Participate in regular safety training and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or certification in welding and fabrication is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, specifically in metal cutting

Languages

• English: Fluent
