Hand Suture Winder

Job Description

As a Hand Suture Winder, you will efficiently wind sutures by hand, ensuring high quality and accuracy of the finished product. You will play a crucial role in our production team and contribute to the overall success of our medical device manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual winding of sutures according to specifications.
• Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Keep the workspace organized and safe.
• Report any defects in product or equipment promptly.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production performance.
• Support other manufacturing processes as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in medical device manufacturing is a plus.

Experience

• Experience in cleanroom environments is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Quality control and assurance
• Understanding of manufacturing software

Soft Skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ISO 13485 quality management system: Knowledge of quality standards in medical device manufacturing.
• Experience with winding equipment: Hands-on experience with devices used for winding sutures.
