Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audio Production Manager to lead audio projects in our Kilmarnock facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio engineering and a passion for the performing arts, driving all aspects of audio production from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audio production for all events, ensuring a seamless sound experience.
  • Supervise and mentor the audio team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate closely with artists to tailor sound design to their needs.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot sound equipment during rehearsals and performances.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding audio equipment.
  • Maintain and update the inventory of sound equipment.
  • Work with external vendors to procure additional audio resources as needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on audio production techniques.
  • Document production processes and maintain detailed reports for future reference.
  • Participate in creative discussions, contributing technical insights to enrich productions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Sound Engineering or Music Production
  • Advanced qualifications preferred
Experience
  • Proven track record with at least 5 years in audio production projects
