Job Description

We are searching for a Cable Respooler to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cable respooling machines, performing quality checks, and ensuring that production meets customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Handle the setup and operation of cable respooling machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
• Document production runs and results for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure standards are met.
• Assist with inventory management as it relates to raw and finished cables.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in cable respooling or related manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Cable manufacturing processes
• Machine operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations: Knowledge of health and safety best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift heavy materials: Capable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
