IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our Glasgow team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our clients, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain IT infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the IT infrastructure, including servers and network equipment.
• Identify and escalate issues that require additional support.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and protocols.
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on support metrics.
• Assist in training junior IT staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
