Cybersecurity Systems Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Manager to lead our IT support team in Sunderland. The successful candidate will oversee cybersecurity protocols, ensuring the integrity and security of our IT infrastructure while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall cybersecurity strategy for the company.
• Review and analyse security performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Implement risk assessment processes to identify vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external cybersecurity vendors for tools and services.
• Prepare and present security reports to senior management.
• Align cybersecurity initiatives with the business's overall objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity management
