Job Description

As a Travel Physical Therapist (Travel PT), you will be responsible for delivering exceptional physical therapy services across various healthcare settings. You will have the chance to work with diverse patient populations, helping them to regain mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and craft appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Provide therapy sessions that may include exercise and manual therapy.
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans based on patient responses.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment updates.
  • Collaborate with and support fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize electronic health records to document patient interactions and progress.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and concerns in multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Participate in training and mentorship programs.
  • Travel between locations to ensure flexible patient service delivery.
  • Prepare for and participate in health fairs and community wellness events as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in diverse healthcare settings.
