We're on the lookout for a talented Cloud Engineer to join our Bristol team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in cloud technologies and a passion for driving innovation in DevOps practices. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructures, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage cloud-based DevOps tools and technologies.
• Conduct performance testing and optimisation of cloud services.
• Collaborate on the development of best practices for cloud architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers in cloud technologies and practices.
• Generate reports on cloud performance metrics and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Linux

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana: Hands-on experience with tools that monitor cloud application performance.
• Understand of security compliance standards: Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
