2D Animator

Job Description

We are seeking a talented 2D Animator to join our dynamic team in Paignton. The successful candidate will have a passion for animation and a knack for storytelling, proficient in creating visually stunning animations using industry-standard software.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate characters and backgrounds for animated shorts.
• Work alongside the technical team to ensure animations are optimised for various platforms.
• Create and maintain detailed animation documentation and project files.
• Support the team in promotional materials and marketing animations.
• Take part in reviewing and refining animation techniques.
• Mentor junior animators and assist with training as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animation or Graphic Design

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in 2D animation

Technical Skills

• Adobe Animate
• Premiere Pro

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Unity: Experience using Unity for animation is a plus.
• Familiarity with VR/AR Animation: Knowledge of animation for virtual and augmented reality platforms.
