Plating Engineer

Job Description

As a Plating Engineer, you will oversee the plating processes in our manufacturing facility, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. Your role includes developing a plating strategy and troubleshooting equipment issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the plating process from conception to completion.
• Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during operations.
• Conduct regular audits of plating techniques and procedures.
• Collaborate with R&D to develop new plating technologies.
• Prepare reports on production quality and efficiency.
• Manage and optimise plating solutions and chemicals usage.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience working in plating or similar manufacturing roles

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Certification in plating or a related field: Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in plating technologies.
• Experience in process optimization and cost reduction: Skills in enhancing process efficiency and reducing waste.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles: Knowledge in continuous improvement methodologies.
