Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Mental Health Nurse to join our Nottingham team. As a part of our dedicated mental health care team, you will provide essential support and therapies to patients experiencing a range of mental health issues. Your role will be vital in fostering a safe and therapeutic environment for recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and manage clinical risks.
  • Support patients in crisis situations, providing de-escalation and intervention.
  • Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the healthcare team.
  • Foster therapeutic relationships to support patient recovery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Engage in community outreach and support services.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to facilitate patient referrals.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

Education
  • BN (Hons) in Mental Health or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in mental health is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting is preferred
