Job Description

As an Insurance Appraiser focused on auto damage, you'll conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles, providing accurate repair estimates and liaising with clients and garages to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site damage assessments and develop accurate repair estimates.
• Communicate with clients, repair facilities, and insurance agents to facilitate timely repairs.
• Negotiate claims settlements in coordination with insurance companies.
• Ensure all appraisals comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Document all findings and maintain meticulous records to support claims processes.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior staff as needed.
• Enhance client satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
• Stay informed on industry trends and repair techniques.
• Leverage specific software tools for estimating and reporting.
• Contribute to improving appraisal processes and guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in automotive appraisal is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with insurance companies or independent appraisal firms.
