Job Description

As a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various cutting and slicing machines. You will ensure the efficient production of high-quality metal components, working closely with the production team to uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines and other cutting tools.
• Perform regular inspections of machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement quality control measures and safety protocols.
• Work with engineers to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Contribute to team discussions on process improvements.
• Assist in inventory management and material handling.
• Document maintenance and repair logs for machinery.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to deadlines and production schedules.
• Foster a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cutting and slicing machine operation

Technical Skills

• CAD software proficiency
• CNC machine operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior supervisory experience: Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles: Knowledge of lean practices to optimize production processes.
