Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect our systems, networks, and data from potential threats. You will work closely with our technical teams to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security protocols while staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment of security technologies and solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead efforts to maintain compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive security strategy.
• Prepare and present security reports to senior management.
• Conduct security awareness training and workshops.
• Monitor compliance with security policies and take corrective actions where necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in case of a security incident.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
