Responsibilities

• Illustrate creative book covers that entice readers and promote sales.
• Engage with authors and marketing professionals to align design vision and strategies.
• Maintain an organized portfolio showcasing your book cover projects.
• Refine and perfect designs based on production feedback.
• Advise on material choices and finishes that enhance the visual and tactile quality of covers.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certification in Graphic Design or Visual Arts is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in book cover or creative design

Technical Skills

• Adobe InDesign
• Sketch

Advantageous

• Experience in different book genres: Ability to produce covers for a variety of genres such as fiction, non-fiction, and children's books.
• Knowledge of printing techniques: Familiarity with various printing methods to optimise designs for production.
