Job Description

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and an eye for detail, with the ability to transform spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. You will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their needs, developing design concepts, and overseeing the implementation of your designs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design consultations and workshops with clients.
  • Research and select appropriate furnishings, materials, and finishes.
  • Draft and revise design proposals based on client feedback.
  • Utilise software to create 3D models and renderings of designs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Assist in marketing efforts by showcasing completed projects.
  • Evaluate supplier samples and negotiate contracts.
  • Facilitate the design review process with stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Additional coursework in project management is a plus
Experience
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in the field

  • SketchUp
  • Adobe Creative Suite

Certifications

Languages
  • English: Fluent
