Sound Effects Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sound Effects Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing sound effects for various projects, ensuring high-quality audio that enhances the overall production.

Responsibilities

• Design and create original sound effects using various techniques and equipment.
• Operate and maintain audio equipment, including microphones, recording devices, and sound libraries.
• Manipulate and edit sound effects using digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools or Logic Pro.
• Coordinate with Foley artists to record and integrate live sound effects into projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality sound effects that meet project deadlines.
• Research and gather relevant sound effects to fulfill project needs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in sound design techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in audio engineering or sound design preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience in sound effects production is essential.
