Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a Pharmacist in Belfast who is passionate about pharmaceutical care and patient education. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and dispensation of prescribed medications.
• Monitor patient medications to identify potential issues.
• Provide consultations and advice to healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate training and mentoring for pharmacy staff.
• Implement and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with healthcare laws.
• Respond to inquiries from patients regarding medications.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Utilize pharmacy management software for tracking prescriptions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Specialist accreditation in a specific area of pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred
