Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join our team in Darlington. In this role, you will assist clients with their tax-related queries, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide strategic advice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and demonstrated experience in managing client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax obligations and best practices.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Evaluate clients' tax situations and recommend course of action.
• Keep meticulous records and documentation for all dealings.
• Prepare responses to tax authorities as required.
• Support clients during tax audits or investigations.
• Participate in business development activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Taxation or Accountancy is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation
