Job Description

We are actively seeking skilled Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our manufacturing team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in setting up and operating machinery to produce precise optical products. You will ensure quality and efficiency throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding and polishing machines to achieve specific material finishes.
• Conduct regular quality checks and troubleshoot any machine issues.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times to ensure workplace safety.
• Document production data and machine settings for quality assurance.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Participate in rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 operational capability.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in machine operation or relevant training is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in operating and setting up edging machines.
