Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Urban Development Engineer to join our Bath team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming urban landscapes through innovative planning and development strategies, ensuring sustainability and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead urban development projects from inception to completion.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic urban planning.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with urban development activities.
  • Enhance community participation in planning processes.
  • Utilize GIS and other technologies for urban data analysis.
  • Support the integration of green spaces and sustainable infrastructure.
  • Prepare funding proposals and liaise with financial stakeholders.
  • Monitor urban development trends and propose new project ideas.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts within the urban planning department.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Urban Development preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in urban development or associated fields
