Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our established team in Dumfries. The successful candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety.
Responsibilities
Diagnosing vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repairing and replacing vehicle components and systems.
Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Communicating with customers regarding repairs and costs.
Ensuring that vehicles are roadworthy and safe.
Staying informed on the latest automotive repair techniques.
Documenting work completed accurately.
Collaborating with the service team to enhance efficiency.
Participating in workshop meetings to discuss improvements.
Requirements
Education
City & Guilds or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Technology
Experience in an automotive workshop setting is essential.
