Security Installer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Security Installer to join our dynamic team. The Security Installer will be responsible for installing and maintaining security systems, including alarms, access control, CCTV, and other related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and maintain security systems such as alarms and CCTV.
• Assist in site surveys and assess security needs to tailor solutions.
• Document all installations accurately and provide reports on work completed.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations during the installation process.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements.
• Train customers on the functionalities of newly installed systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting and perform necessary repairs.
• Stay current with industry advancements and legislative changes.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in specific security system brands preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in security technology or related field

Technical Skills

• Experience with CCTV systems
• Understanding of access control systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving mindset
• Good time management

Certifications

• Valid driver's license
• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications from security brands: Knowledge of specific security manufacturers' products is a plus.
• Experience in customer service: Ability to handle customer interactions effectively.
