Job Description

As a Photoengraving Proofer, you will be responsible for producing impeccable proofs that accurately represent final products. Your expertise will ensure quality standards in photoengraving through meticulous attention to detail and collaboration with designers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Create and evaluate proofs for various projects to ensure final products match client expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific engraving requirements.
  • Maintain an organised record of proofing workflows and project timelines.
  • Adapt to changes in project specifications and client feedback promptly.
  • Continuously improve proofing techniques and share insights with the team.
  • Ensure that all materials and tools used are of the highest quality and comply with safety standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere by sharing knowledge and providing feedback.
  • Prepare reports on proofing processes and results for management review.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on new technologies.
  • Support the production team in troubleshooting any equipment issues.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certification or vocational training in photoengraving
Experience
  • Prior experience in photoengraving or a related field is required.
